Female soldier completes final phase of Special Forces training.

We live in a time now where woman can physically and mentally challenge themselves the same way men have been doing in special forces training for decades. A female national guard service member has successfully completed the final phase of training called the Q course. This does not ensure her that she is a green beret yet, she is still a student within the course and until graduation she is not considered a Green Beret.

If upon graduation she would become the first woman ever to don the coveted Green Beret and this would open up many doors for more females to take on heavier roles within combat that were ultimately reserved for their male counterparts.

It will be exciting to see how this all pans out and if this young lady can make history as the first woman ever to wear the Green Beret.
